manD 1.0
Sensor setup
The study is carried out in a static driving simulator, situated in a lab setting with the temperature regulated at 22°C. The simulation area for the driver is isolated to replicate the interior of a vehicle, ensuring minimal distractions and interruptions. While ambient lighting is switched off, a light source within the simulator provides illumination similar to that found in an actual vehicle. The integrated driver monitoring sensors are an Intel RealSense camera, a SmartEye eye tracking system, an Empatica E4 wristband (Photoplethysmogram, Electrodermal activity sensor, and 3-axis accelerometer), BIOPAC EEG/ECG sensors, and two BodiTrak2 Pro seat pressure sensor mats.
