RST at ITSC 2026 in Naples!

Our team had the pleasure of representing our institution at the IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC 2026) in Naples. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to present our latest research findings and exchange ideas with researchers from around the world.

During the conference, our team presented two recent research papers:

  • “Impact of Social Influence on Affective and Behavioral States in Critical Scenarios within an Automated Shuttle” – Tobias Heinrich Motal, Khazar Dargahi Nobari, and Torsten Bertram
  • “RuralAD: A Comprehensive Multi-Modal Multi-Season Dataset for Rural Automated Driving” – Franz Albers, Stefan Schütte, and Torsten Bertram

In addition to presenting our research, ITSC 2026 offered numerous opportunities for engaging technical discussions, new insights, and exchanges with international colleagues.

We would like to thank the organizers of ITSC 2026, as well as everyone with whom we were able to discuss our results and develop new ideas for future research.
