The RST Hackathon offers committed students the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have acquired during their studies in an exciting and challenging technology competition outside of the curriculum. In line with the research focus of our department, the tasks come from the fields of robotics, automation and automated driving and can include both purely software-related and mixed software and hardware-related problems. The presentation of the results to a jury of experts and the awarding of prizes to the best teams not only reflect the competitive nature of the event, but also highlight the appreciation of the achievements and commitment of the participating teams. Nevertheless, the main focus is on having fun solving challenging tasks as a team, which is why we do our best to create an atmosphere in which the participants' enjoyment is not neglected throughout the event.
